This is a protect that took me all week. I created the character on the right to enter in a contest. She never got finished for the contest but I really likes the form and face, so i ran with her.
The character on the right is one I've used before. People always told me she looked like an angel. So I thought in relation to the character on the right, she'd be perfect to oppose her.
I'm leaving the download option open for two reasons. One, it's a wide screen wallpaper so you can DL it and use ot for such. And two, there is so much detail on this one that you can't see it without zooming in. I recommend you all download it and take a look at the detail on both characters especially the faces.

Thanks. The BG came from :iconresurgere: again but the color overlay is a gradient fade from the color of one characters wings to the color of the other's. The fading of the background was the whole concept for combining these two characters.

Wow. Really like the blue/red. Nice composition too. Really digging some of the different things you've been doing with wings.

Thanks again. I was worried about how the wings on red came out. They look more like blood spurting out her back to me. That's why I ask for feedback though. I need to know what works and does not.

Thanks. I worked on the characters independently to insure that each wasn't necessarily a reaction to the other... That might be why their expressions are so detailed. I was worried about how the wings would come out. I'm glad people are liking them.
The "freeze" blast was just intended to be a blast of light with the colors sponged from her wings. It became pretty complex by the end. I'd rather just have it in there and let the viewer decide what the blast is... or even which character is the angel ;)

LOL! I really dont. I'm in between mowing my yard. With all the rain we are getting my grass is 2ft. high and my mower got pissed off and stopped on me. Trying to get this done before I take off to PA on Thursday.
